Christmas Peace

Christmas Peace: Peace in the Midst of the Storm

 As the winds begin to blow, and waters start to rise,

My heart begins to pound, and tears spill from my eyes…

Here I am again Lord, to stand against the storm.

 I know You, and You hold my life, and there my Faith is born.

 

No wind or shaking land can overcome Your own.

We rest secure and safe, for Your Truth and Love are known.

No rain, or hail, or crashing waves, can overcome Your own-

You are the Sovereign… Prince of Peace, Your Strength and Authority shown…

 

As You command the clapping thunder, and demand the winds be still-

For nothing-nothing in this creation, can thwart Your perfect will.

You speak into my stormy heart and decree it to be still,

Your perfect love reigns in me, as Your purpose You fulfill.

 

Here I am again Lord, to stand against the storm,

I know, You hold my life, and there my Peace is born.

Here I am again Lord…You are my Christmas Peace.
