Ode to Summer…

(Oh Dear-you are almost over)

Sometimes you made me laugh and

Sometimes you made me cry.

Sometimes you made me CRAZY-

And sometimes I just screamed WHY?

And then, I remembered…Oh that’s right…

I am a Blessed mom and grand,

And I count them one by one…

Yes, it was summer-Oh dear, dear, summer,

And, lots of laughter and loving was done!

Together we all laughed and together we all cried!

Together we were crazy…and of course…They cried out WHY…

Why Can’t we…I’m hungry…I’m tired…

We’re bored!!!!!

Oh…but we know you, Dear Summer…

 You, are the place and the time, where memories are stored.

You see, I am a Blessed mom and grand…And I count them one by one…

Yes, oh Dear Summer, lots of loving was done!
