The Dance

butterflygirlsdanceSome of my favorite moments are watching our granddaughters as they hear and respond to music. They often breakout in song but when they hear the music play, they always dance. I am completely amazed as they hold their arms up, tilt their faces to the heavens, then they smile… and then they dance.

Let them praise Him with dancing…
Psalm 149:3

I know that the Lord smiles from heaven as He watches His daughters innocent and beautiful expression of love… and He smiles as He watches parents love their children.  Parents, your love is what they want, what they need. Then, as you love them and teach them about their Creator, they hear His song and their little lives spill over with joy…with gladness…with confidence in their parents and in their Heavenly Father…and they DANCE…

My prayer is that each of you dance every day because of the joy you have in your Heavenly Father…

The Lord’s lovingkindness indeed never ceases; for His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness…We lift up our heart and hands toward God in Heaven…
Lamentations 3:22, 23, 41

The Dance

How did she know when the music starts, to dance for Him with all her heart?

How did she know to lift her face? How did know His Hands bled grace?

How did she know to twirl and dance? How did she know to take the chance?

How did she know with arms held high; how did she know He hears her cry?

How did she know to sing His song? How did she know He makes her strong?

How did she know to twirl and sway? How did she know to dance each day?

How did she know to lift up her heart? How did she know the joy Truth imparts?

How did she know to praise and sing?  How did she know He is her King?

How Did she Know

She sees Him in the morning skies; and hears Him in the baby’s cries.

She lifts her face to evening skies, and sees Him in her father’s eyes.

She sees the mercy and the grace, she see Him in her mother’s face.

She lifts her face to Him above, then finds Him in her parent’s love.

She hears His heart, His Love, His Song, with a child’s faith, In Him she’s strong.

She hears His voice within her heart; May she always dance… when the music starts!

The Lord’s lovingkindness indeed never ceases; for His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness…We lift up our heart and hands toward God in Heaven…

May you always dance!
