I remember when our children were toddlers and bath time was the best! They would be splashing and sliding in the tub and then it was time for the shampooing of the hair. The squeals began as the bucket of cool water was dumped upon each little head! The water ran into their eyes and their noses and their ears and their hair dripped down each little face and ran back into the tub. Then their voices, in unison, “Do it again Mommy,” over and over until they were water-logged, but delighted. It did not matter that all the bubbles were gone from the bath water or that the bath was almost over and bed-time awaited them—for them, it was the ‘joy of the moment’.
How many times does God rain down blessings on us in the midst of challenging circumstances? It should not matter that tomorrow is coming…or that today has its own troubles…
Drench us Lord with your presence!
…For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains
righteousness on you.”
Hosea 10:12
Joyfully,
