JUST AS HE SAID…

Glorious Day!

“Then the angel spoke to the woman, “Don’t be afraid!” he said.  “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen. Come and see…”  Matthew 28:5-6 (NLT)

Oh Glorious Day…Early on Sunday morning, following the Crucifixion, death, and burial of the Messiah on Friday and the agony of silence on the Sabbath, the new day dawned as the sun rose over the Jerusalem sky…The women were grieving at the loss of their Lord…and having prepared spices and ointments to complete the burial of the body of Jesus, they went to the tomb early Sunday morning…

Oh Glorious Day

They found the stone that sealed the tomb, rolled away and their Hope, their Messiah had risen from the dead. Jesus, their Promise-Keeper was alive!

Oh my friends, Jesus took on every sin, every broken-heart, every sorrow, every disappointment, every failure, every, shame-all of my shame and carried it with Him to the cross, and then to His grave.  He defeated death, darkness, and hopelessness once and for all, as His Father, rolled away the stone, and lifted Him up, resurrecting Him. Jesus is our Victory!

On this Glorious Resurrection Sunday, may we be reminded that when we live in Christ, and believe Him, there is no end. In Him, there is a new beginning each day of our lives…In Him, we live for eternity, forever with our Father, and with our Messiah who sits at the Right Hand of His Father.

On this Glorious Day, may we remember that there is no rock or boulder, no hill, no mountain, no challenge, no obstacle, no betrayal, no grief, no disappointment, no brokenness in our lives- no chasm of sin, no matter what it is, no matter what we have done, that is beyond the reach, beyond the touch and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the Son of God…THE RISEN SAVIOR.

Yes, my friends, our God is our Promise-Keeper who promised the world His Greatest Blessing, and yes, Yahweh, the LORD, kept His Promise!  He gave us His WORD, His Flesh and His Blood.  The Thread of the Redeemer, His Son, runs throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, because He is the Remedy, the Answer for which every human heart is desperate…Jesus is the only One who can, who will fill the emptiness, the place in our hearts, God intentionally created and reserved for Himself; but we must open the door and let Him in.

Today, as we arrive at our destination, our Journey to Easter, may we remember that this is a new beginning!  We begin again, refreshed and reminded of the treasure we carry in our hearts and in our lives as children of God, in the family of faith. All because of the One who chose to go to the cross, the One who chose to remain there until it was finished. Today, holds a new opportunity to live with gratitude and with expectation of the Greatness and the Goodness of God in our lives, and in the lives of all believers throughout the world!

May we be compelled to share our Jesus with others, knowing that He desires to make a Triumphant Entry into each life…He is waiting…Jesus is waiting for the doors of hearts to open…May we continue to live, to love, and to celebrate our LORD, our Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God…and to pray for and invite others to, Come and See Jesus for themselves!

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.”1 Peter 1:3

And we wait with great expectation, and look to our Promise-Keeper with anticipation as we continue our Journey with Him. And, yes, my friends, we are certain, because we have seen and experienced…

Everything has been, is, and will be, always and forever…

Just as He Said…

OH GLORIOUS DAY!

Love you in Jesus,
