“As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him.”  Psalms 103:13

There are seasons to hold…and seasons to let go…And both, bring new life, at the proper time…

…Letting Go…

He must have suffered the pain of loss as he let go of his hand…

He must have known that life and growth come only when he learns to stand.

He must have known that letting go brings life and new measure…

He must have known that struggle and trials bring with them a precious treasure.

He must have ached as He let go of His precious Son-

He must have wept when He turned His head, though He knew the battle was won.

He must have trusted His Father’s love as He laid down His life…

He must have known that redeemed souls were worth the sacrifice…

And He Let Go…

As we nurture our precious ones, our babes, our gifts of love…

May we let them grow and stand, as our treasures from above.

May we teach him and lead him as he becomes a man…

A husband and a father, and do the best we can.

May we love her and walk with her as she becomes a wife…

May we laugh with her and celebrate as she brings forth new life.

May we learn to let them go when we have done our part…

For we know we carry them forever in our hearts.

May we know that we can trust our Father’s strong right Hand…

May we trust Him to hold them up, as they learn to stand.

May we learn to trust our Father to fulfill His purpose and His plan…

We can trust Him to never let go…They are safe within His Hands!

May we learn to let them go when we have done our part…

For we rest because we know that they are safe in their Father’s Heart!

“… I have loved you, O my people, with an everlasting love;

with loving-kindness, I have drawn you to me.”  Jeremiah 31:3

Yes, He loves with an everlasting love!

Abundant joy and blessings,
